Hi there — welcome! I’m Lizzie 👋

I’m a proud mummy to three fabulous kids (a busy bunch aged 14, 12, and 9!) — and I’m also the heart and soul behind Lilybut Photography. I started this adventure back in January 2019 when I first picked up a camera and realised: THIS — this magical pause button — is what I was born to press.

Being a mum means I know just how fast little ones grow up, and how precious those tiny newborn snuggles, first giggles and cake-smashed grins really are. That’s why I pour all of me — my heart, my patience, my energy — into making each session with you feel relaxed, joyful, and full of memories you’ll treasure forever.

I’m all about being professional and a friend. I love chatting, laughing, and connecting with your family — whether I’m soothing a wriggly newborn, coaxing a shy toddler into a smile, or making your older kids crack up with silliness. My goal? To make you feel comfortable, have fun, and walk away with photos that feel like you.

Safety is my top priority. With three children of my own, I know babies need sensitivity, gentleness and zero pressure. I’m trained to spot those little signs — and I never push. If baby needs a break, we bounce to cuddles. If baby wants more gentle rocking — I’m there. I’m always baby-led, always respectful, always ready to flow with whatever makes your little one happiest and safest.

At Lilybut Photography, I believe that meaningful, beautiful photos shouldn’t come with a scary price tag. I’m committed to offering an affordable, transparent experience — so from the moment you book, you know exactly what you’ll get: no hidden fees, no surprises. Just honest pricing, and honest care.

Why “Lilybut”? That’s a little throwback: it was my childhood nickname, and it’s stayed with me ever since. I love that it feels familiar — like a cosy hug from your uncle — and I hope that same warmth shines through in every session I do.

Thank you for stopping by. I can’t wait to meet you and your little ones — and to capture those tiny moments of magic you’ll want to freeze forever.

With love,

Lizzie
